I grew up fascinated by stories of all types: fairy tales, accounts of heroism, how things come to be, and what they might become. Later, I was drawn to the grand narratives of life itself. In a complex tale where species rise and fall, move and change, I found my calling—not just in the science of patterns but in the stories they tell. To me, species are more than points on a map; they are protagonists in a tale shaped by time, chance, and environment. By translating ecological and evolutionary processes into models, I hope to uncover stories that reveal the deep connections between life’s past, present, and uncertain future—where every pattern is a chapter and every species a character in the most extraordinary story ever told: life on Earth. That being said, I have also become proficient in programming, pretty good problem solver and innate learner. Skilled in statistical analysis & data visualization.
